The heat can be delivered by radiant floor giving you the most comfortable home or shop you have ever been in. Forced air is the most commonly used method of heating existing homes because of the existing duct systems.
If your home has baseboard heaters or cast iron radiators, your system will likey have a boiler heating system fueled by either oil, natural gas, propane or wood. You can also use a boiler to provide heat into a duct system as well as providing your home's hot water needs.
Geothermal, or ground source heat pumps, are the ultimate in efficiency- saving you significant money compared to alternative heating systems. Geothermal allows you to heat your home or business with forced air and/or radiant floor methods.
Your choice of heat delivery systems include air (forced air) or hot water from the floor, cast iron radiators, baseboard heaters, or coils in the existing duct work.
RADIANT FLOOR HEAT
Whether your home or shop is 100 years old, or just being built, radiant floor heat is the ultimate in comfort and is widely adaptable. It is a unique and cost effective solution for any application.
Unlike forced air heat, which accumulates near the ceiling, radiant floor heat is transfered directly to you and your surroundings providing you and your family with the greatest benefit.

FORCED AIR / DUCT WORK SYSTEM
Forced air is usually delivered through the metal duct system throughout a building. In Canada, this has been the most common method of home heat delivery for the last few decades. Its popularity still exists because it is a relatively low cost heating and cooling delivery system.
BASEBOARD / CAST IRON RADIATOR
Cast iron radiators and baseboard heaters are another method of delivering heat to specific rooms with zone controls (with the option to have a thermostat in each room). Different sizes are available and will fit most locations along a wall or under a window. For a contemporary, reliable way to deliver heat in any room, a cast iron radiator may be a good fit. Baseboard heaters are found on the perimeter of your home's walls and can be added to any room at any time.
